Together with Rollin and Kuube, we have developed a unique micromobility solution: a micromobility station with green energy and smart features. PLATIO’s solar pavers charge electric scooters waiting at Rollin’ charging stations with solar energy. And the Kuube smart bench complements this with smart features (wifi, phone charging, music) and a social experience for users. The result is clean, cost-effective, energy-efficient transport in cities.

In 2017 a 4.1 m2 large system was installed in the parking lot of Prologis in Budapest.
Our goal was to increase the rate of green energy in the energy mix, and fuel cars with clean electricity.

In 2017, a wooden marina pontoon was equipped with PLATIO Solar Pavers.
These pontoon-integrated walkable, anti-slip solar tiles supply electricity for ships and port facilities.

Barcelona, Spain

Size: 56 m2 I Performance: 9 kWp I Client: Barcelona City Council

In 2021, one of our most impressive public installation was commissioned by the Barcelona City Council to place 56m2 of PLATIO solar pavement in the Glòries park, where an electric bike charging station will be powered by PLATIO. This off-grid solution will help the city in its attempt of becoming carbon neutral.

At the entrance of Westfield la Maquinista, Barcelona’s largest shopping centre, you will find the first PLATIO powered scooter charger! The PLATIO pavers charge the scooters waiting at the Yupcity charging station with solar energy. Our first micromobility project aims to make public transport sustainable by charging electric scooters with clean energy.

At Volvo Galeria Budapest 4 m2 PLATIO supports the charging of electric vehicles. The system is an On grid system with the performance of 0.8 kWp.

Cham, Switzerland

Size: 10 m2 I Performance: 1,64 kWp I Client: Municipality of Cham, Faboro

Switzerland’s first solar bike path has been installed by the PLATIO team in the town of Cham. PLATIO solar pavers were installed on 2 sections of the cycle and pedestrian path ordered by the municipality. The off-grid solar systeml supplies energy to the electric bike charger next to the road and the unused energy is fed to the nearby school building.
