HOW TO INSTALL THE SYSTEM?

The PLATIO Solar Deck box includes detailed instructions for the installation, which will help you install the PV system with ease.

The process consists of:

  1. Unboxing
  2. You can either install it in a 2×10 or 4×5 allocation.
  3. Creating the foundation
  4. Laying down PLATIO solar pavers in a modular system
  5. Connecting to the microinverters
  6. Plugging in and connecting to the monitoring system

ABOUT PLATIO PAVER

PLATIO has a unique product setup consisting of a recycled plastic frame, solar panels and a protective glass layer:

  • The in-built high-performance monocrystalline solar cells collect solar energy at the pavement level.
    The solar pavers’ load-bearing capacity and the connecting cables’ protection are ensured by the robust frame structure made of plastic waste.
  • The cells are protected by high-strength, tempered, anti-slip, scratch- and impact-resistant glass.
    Our OPAL glass with blasted surface with an opalescent character which, in addition to its aesthetic design, also ensures a long service life of the paving surface.
  • The units carry the electrical network themselves, eliminating the need to build complex electrical cabling.
  • The frame has special spacers at the sides allowing the modular fitting of the pavers.
  • The OPAL glass is tempered and has anti-slip surfaces. 

CLEANING

PLATIO Solar pavers are easy to clean.  You can use a broom, a high-pressure wash, a floor squeegee or a snow shovel in the winter. For first-time usage, clean it with BriteGuard® surface sealer. For everyday use, a universal glass cleaner can be used.
