PLATIO Solar Deck combines the functionality of traditional solar panels with a durable, space-saving design. Our solar pavers feature high-performance solar cells that efficiently capture solar energy, protected by heavy-duty, anti-slip, scratch- and impact-resistant glass panels. The robust frame structure ensures the walk-on solar surface’s load-bearing capacity and protects the cables.

INSTALLATION
1. Surface Preparation:
- Clear the installation site of any debris, ensuring a clean and level surface.
- If installing on gravel or a nonsolid base, ensure the surface is adequately compacted to prevent settling.
2. Setting the Foundation:
- Place adjustable decking pedestals on the prepared surface, spaced according to the dimensions of the PLATIO pavers.
- Use spacer blocks to achieve the desired height and level the pedestals to create a uniform base.
3. Placing the Joists:
- Position the decking joists on the pedestals, ensuring they are properly aligned and secured.
- Check the alignment and level of the joists to ensure a stable foundation for the solar pavers.
4. Installing PLATIO Solar Pavers:
- Begin at one corner of the installation area, laying the first PLATIO paver on the joists.
- As you lay pavers, connect the integrated cables with MC4 connectors on them with each other on neighboring elements.
- Secure the paver to the joists using standard market-available WPC clips and self-tapping screws. Ensure the clips are tightened to hold the paver firmly in place.
- Continue laying the pavers in rows, using the clips and screws to secure each paver to the joists. Maintain a consistent gap between pavers (typically 5-7 mm) as determined by the size of the WPC clips.
